BES-HNS Foundation Successfully Held 2024 Annual General Members’ Meeting

The BES-HNS Foundation, Inc. convened its Annual General Members’ Meeting on April 27, 2024, at the Jardin Solana Events Place in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Under the guidance of Chairman and President Brod Lamberto Tagayuna, the event witnessed active participation from members both present and represented by proxy.

The gathering commenced with a solemn invocation led by Brod Kent Vasquez, setting the tone for a day of reflection and progress. Ensuring procedural integrity, the Corporate Secretary, Sis Pauline Dacir confirmed the service of notice and the establishment of a quorum, ensuring robust representation with 87% of members in good standing in attendance.

The heart of the event resided in the delivery of the President’s Message by Brod Lamberto Tagayuna. In his impassioned address, he expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of members and highlighted the invaluable contributions of various stakeholders to the Foundation’s success. Particularly noteworthy were the generous contributions of Brod Primo and Sis Lisa Valero, whose dedication and financial support continue to propel the Foundation’s initiatives forward.

The Treasurer’s Report, presented by the Executive Director, Brod Mario Quinsaat on behalf of the Treasurer, Sis Carol Thompson, underscored the importance of driving donations to sustain the Foundation’s scholarship activities. With a focus on financial sustainability, members were urged to mobilize resources to support the academic aspirations of deserving students.

This was followed by the ratification of the acts of the Board of Trustees which finalized the resolutions and contracts vital to the Foundation’s operations.

Amidst procedural matters and financial discussions, the meeting celebrated the achievements of the BES-HNS Honor Societies across various campuses. Leaders of the Beta Espsilon Sigma and Hiyas ng Silangan Societies in University of the East – Manila, University of the East – Caloocan, and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines showcased an array of accomplishments, emphasizing the impact of community engagement and academic excellence.

As the meeting drew to a close, Chairman Tagayuna extended heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and contributors. Special recognition was reserved for those who generously hosted the event and supported its logistics, ensuring its success.

With a renewed sense of purpose and commitment, the Annual General Members’ Meeting concluded, marking another milestone in the journey of the BES-HNS Foundation towards excellence and service.
